Denvar DS
Description
Cefixime is a semisynthetic, cephalosporin antibacterial for oral administration.

Indications
Urinary tract infections e.g. cystitis, cystourethritis, uncomplicated pyelonephritis. Upper respiratory tract infections e.g. pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis Lower respiratory tract infections e.g. acute bronchitis and acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis.

Supply
Denvar® 200 mg capsule: 2x6s capsule in blister pack.
Denvar® 400 mg capsule: 1x6s capsule in blister pack.
Denvar® powder for suspension: Amber glass bottle containing powder to prepare 50 ml suspension.
Denvar® DS powder for suspension: Amber glass bottle containing powder to prepare 37.5 ml suspension.
